'Less than at any time does a simple reproduction of reality tell us anything about reality. A photograph of the Krupp works or GEC yields almost nothing about these institutions. Therefore something has actually to be constructed, something artificial, something set up'.
Bertolt Brecht
Saranno esposti : video , video – installazioni e fotografie.

The exhibition is the most cool event off of the Festa of Architecture of Rome .
It will be in the Auditorium in June (opening the 16 June – period between the 16 June – 1 July) .
One of the artist of the exhibition is the famous Spencer Tunick .
For the “Sensational Architecture” exhibition there will be two video – installations :
“Newcastle Gateshead, England2 - BALTIC Center for Contemporary Art (July 17, 2005) and “Düsseldorf, Germany” - Museum Kunst Palast (August 6, 2006) .
American Artist Spencer Tunick has been documenting the live nude figure in public, with photography and video, since 1992. Since 1994, he has organized over 95 temporary site-related installations that encompass dozens, hundreds or thousands of volunteers, and his photographs are records of these events. The individuals en masse, without their clothing, grouped together, metamorphose into a new shape. The bodies extend into and upon the landscape like a substance. These group masses, which do not underscore sexuality, become abstractions that challenge or reconfigure one's views of nudity and privacy. The work also refers to the complex issue of presenting art in permanent or temporary public spaces.
Spencer Tunick's body of work may come to help define or at least clarify the social, political and legal issues surrounding art in the public sphere. Since 1992, Tunick has been arrested 5 times while attempting to work outdoors in New York City. Soon after his Times Square arrest, as with the previous 4 arrests, all charges were dropped. Determined to create his work on the streets of New York, the artist filed a Federal Civil Rights Law Suit against the city to protect himself and his participants from future arrests. In May 2000, the Second US district court sided with Tunick, recognizing that his work was protected by the First Amendment of the US Constitution. On June 3 of the same year, in response to the city's final appeal made to Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the court at large, the US Supreme Court also ruled in favor of Tunick by remanding the case back down, allowing the lower court decision to stand and the artist to freely organize his work on New York City streets.
His installations around the world have been created in spectacular locations, including Belgium, Australia, Canada, the United States and Brazil, gathering thousands of people at one time. His temporary site-specific installations have been commissioned by the XXV Biennial de Sao Paulo, Brazil (2002);Institut Cultura, Barcelona (2003); The Saatchi Gallery (2003);
MOCA Cleveland (2004) and the Vienna Kunsthalle (2008) among others.
This is the first Italian show of the artist Isidro Ramirez (U.K.) and the serie choice is : 360° Degrees .
This project started as a continuation to the work he had been doing since 2005.
In these last four years he had produced different series of work that are separate and distinctive but conceptually related.
These series have a common denominator – the limits of photographic representation. Photography is a media that limits vision and understanding.
For the last 10 years he had internationally exhibited and published photographic work in publications/galleries such as (NextLevel magazine, Exit magazine, Hotshoe magazine, Photofusion gallery, Zelda Cheatle Gallery London, Viewfinder Gallery and Hunchentoot Gallery Berlin).
In addition to photographic practice he also works as a photography lecturer at Havering College – running the third year of a Photography BA - and Kingston University and in other institutions such as The Photographers’ Gallery, Goldsmiths University and Tate Britain.
The others artists are Mark Lewis and Andrea Garuti .
Mark Lewis lives and works in London, England. He was born in Hamilton, Ontario, in 1958, and attended Harrow College of Art (London) and the Polytechnic of Central London. Starting out as a photographer, Mr. Lewis began making films in the mid-1990s. In 2009 Lewis represented Canada in the 53rd International Art Exhibitiobn, La Bienalle di Venezia.
